A businessman and an international investor who has financial and trading interests in Pakistan and other parts of the world in various sectors like petroleum, power generation, chemical, real estate and cement etc. Mr. Laith holds a graduate degree from the University of Southern California.
Mr. Laith G. Pharaon was elected as Chairman of Attock Cement Pakistan Limited on 27th of January, 2017.

Mr. Shuaib A. Malik
Mr. Shuaib A. Malik has been associated with Attock Group Companies for around 35 years. He started his career as an Executive Officer in The Attock Oil Company Limited in July 1977 and served in different Companies in the Group at various times with the responsibility to supervise and oversee the operations and affairs of these Companies. He has exhaustive experience related to various aspects of upstream, midstream and downstream petroleum business. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Punjab University and has attended many international management programs, workshops and conferences including two such programs at British Institute of Management, UK and Harvard Business School, USA. Presently, he is holding the position of Group Regional Chief Executive of the Attock Group of Companies besides being the Director on the Board of all the Companies in the Group.
Mr. Abdus Sattar
Mr. Abdus Sattar has over 35 years of Financial Management experience at key positions of responsibility in various Government organizations / ministries, commercial organizations with the main objective of controlling costs of various commodities, to watch consumer interest, minimize government subsidies, improve government revenues, eliminate wasteful expenses / leakages, fixation of gas and POL prices. After serving as Financial Advisor to Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Resources, Government of Pakistan, he also remained Financial Advisor for Mari Gas Company Limited for around 8 years including 6 years as its Director on the Board. While working as Financial Advisor in Ministry of Petroleum he also served as Director on a number of boards like OGDCL, PPL, SNGPL, SSGCL, PSO, PARCO, ARL, POL, NRL, PMDC etc. as a nominee of Government of Pakistan for about seven years. He is a fellow member of Institute of Cost and Management Accountant of Pakistan (ICMAP) and was also nominated as council member of ICMAP for the three years (Jan 2000 to Dec 2002) by the Government of Pakistan. He has attended many advance financial management courses, programs and training in institutions of international repute in Pakistan and abroad. Presently, he is on the Board of Attock Refinery Limited, Pakistan Oilfields Limited, Attock Cement Pakistan Limited and National Refinery Limited and a visiting faculty member of a number of reputed universities and professional institutions.
Mr. Babar Bashir Nawaz
Director & Chief Executive (ACPL)
He has over 30 years of experience with the Attock Group. During this period he has held various positions in Finance, Personnel, Marketing& General Management before being appointed as the Chief Executive of Attock Cement Company Limited in 2002. Mr. Bashir holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad and at present is also a Director on the Board of all the listed companies of the Group in Pakistan. He has attended various courses, workshops and seminars in Pakistan and abroad on the business management and has substantial knowledge of the cement industry in Pakistan. Currently he is also a member of the Management Committee of the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the All Pakistan Cement Manufacturing Association.
Mr. Mohammad Haroon
Currently, he is on the Board of Directors – Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), the country’s largest integrated Gas Company. He is also member of four, out of five, sub-committees of the Board. Earlier, he had a long prolific association with the “Attock Group”, a fully integrated Group of Companies covering all segments of Oil and Gas industry from exploration, production and refining to marketing of a wide range of petroleum products.
Mr. Mohammad Haroon brings with him over two and half decades of diverse experience in two of the most dynamic and vibrant industries, i.e., Oil and Telecommunications. He has extensive experience in the “downstream” sector of the oil industry. He has the honor of being one of the primary members of the team that established “Attock Petroleum Limited”, which is, currently, one of the largest OMCs in Pakistan.
Mr. Haroon was also involved in a number of marketing and customer care related initiatives for a Telecom giant in Pakistan.
During his professional career, he gained rich experience in Retail Network (Development/Sales), Human Resource, Administration, Business Development, Customer Care and Joint Ventures. He has worked in challenging, diverse, multi-cultural environments, gaining considerable exposure to both corporate environment and regional set-ups at a senior level.
He has done Masters in Business Administration and attended a number of management courses in Pakistan and abroad.
Mr. Shamim Ahmed Khan
Master from the Punjab University. Received training in the World Bank Institute, Washington and the IMF Institute, Washington as well as in the Institute of US Securities and Exchange Commission, Washington.
After serving provinces both in the field and secretariat assignments, joined the Ministry of Finance in 1979. Worked as Additional Secretary in the Ministries of Finance, Production and Commerce. Retired from the Government as Secretary, Ministry of Commerce in March 1997. Served in the Corporate Law Authority (regulatory body for capital market and corporate sector) as Member for four years (1988-1992) and had two tenures as its Chairman. Served as Chairman of the Expert Committee on Demutualisation and Integration of Stock Exchanges in Pakistan.
Established Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan in 1999 and was appointed as its first Chairman. Authored a number of professional papers on various aspects of capital market and presented these in seminars/conferences, both within and outside Pakistan. Contributed a background paper to the World Development Report on Investment Was engaged by State Bank of Pakistan as Consultant/Advisor on Non Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI’s).
Previously worked as an independent director of a number of listed companies like Packages, Abbott Laboratories, ABN AMMRO /RBS Bank, Pakistan, BOC/Linde, Pakistan and Pakistan Reinsurance Company. Previously also served as chairman of Crescent Commercial Bank (Presently Samba Bank)
Presently working as Director on Boards of a number of listed companies- Attock Refinery Ltd and POL. In addition, serving as non-executive director and Chairman of IGI Life Insurance as well as that of IGI General Insurance.
Presently serving as Member Board of Governors of SDPI (Sustainable Development Policy Institute), a premier think tank in Pakistan

Mr. Irfan Amanullah
Mr. Irfan Amanullah is a Chartered Accountant as well as Cost and Management Accountant by profession. He started his career as a trainee student from A.F. Ferguson & Company, Chartered Accountants, a member firm of Price Waterhouse Coopers in 1988. He is a fellow member of both The Institute of Chartered Accountant of Pakistan and The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan. During his career span of over 25 years he has worked with various multinational companies in Pakistan like Unilever Pakistan Limited, Merck Sharpe & Dohme and Hinopak Motors Limited. He joined Attock Cement Pakistan Limited in 2000 and since last 20 years he has been associated with this company. Presently he is the Senior General Manager (Finance & Coordination) and in this capacity he has been looking after the Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, Procurement & Planning, Plant Administration & Industrial Relations and Dispatches functions. As a Business Manager, one of his best achievements was to re-introduce Pakistan Cement at regional level through EXPORTS. He has represented the cement sector of Pakistan at various national and international forums. He remained key speaker on Pakistan Cement Sector in some of the leading cement conferences in Afro-Asian countries, organized by the international reputable forums such as INTERCEM, CEMTECH and CEMASIA.
